Dr. Crist is a Montana native and is thrilled to be practicing dentistry in his home state. Alan grew up in smalltown Florence, Montana and enjoyed sports as well as art.
Alan started studying art at Brigham Young University. He quickly switched his sights to dentistry where he felt he could use his artistic talents while helping people become healthier. Alan graduated with a degree in human biology then went on to dental school in Baltimore, Maryland.
While in Maryland, Alan met his sweetheart, Laura. She is from Montana as well, but was in Maryland finishing up her studies to become a dietitian. Alan and Laura were married and now have four wonderful children.
While in dental school, Alan chose to focus on general dentistry as he felt it would allow him to have long-term relationships with his patients and their families. After completing dental school and a hospital-based residency, Alan and Laura knew they wanted to return to Montana to practice dentistry and raise their family.
Alan practices dentistry in a warm and welcoming office where he focuses on overall oral health, patient comfort and treating each patient as a family member.
Some of Alan's passions and hobbies include allowing his children to climb all over him, fly fishing and wood working. His latest hobby is building custom fly fishing landing nets using exotic woods from all around the world. Check out his website below!
